Letter from the Program Committee Chairperson
On behalf of the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Board of Directors, 2018 Program Committee, and sponsoring organizations, we invite you to submit an abstract presenting your technical solutions, innovations, advancements, and knowledge at the world’s largest offshore energy conference. OTC 2018 will take place 30 April–3 May 2018 in Houston, Texas, USA.
Since its inception in 1969, OTC has provided a forum to present cutting-edge technologies and innovations which have shaped the entire industry and led the way to many dramatic achievements.
As the 50th OTC approaches, we have an opportunity to help prepare for a sustainable future. The program committee encourages submissions which will align with the following themes:
Cost Reducing Technologies: Illustrate how emerging technologies have been able to reduce costs and improve overall value while maintaining high standards of safety, operability, and reliability.
Integrating to Innovate: Highlight how innovative technologies such as advanced software, nanotechnology, and robotics can advance our industry through integration across disciplines.
Rapid Deployment of New Technologies: Present solutions to reduce the technology development timeline and create project-ready technologies which meet the current industry challenges.
We look forward to receiving high-quality submissions that will help shape a vibrant future for the offshore industry and encourage you to contribute to our world-class technical program across a wide variety of topics:
